Raechele Lovell

Raechele LovellRaechele recently moved back to her hometown of Kitchener after spending the past 8 years living and working as a professional performing artist, choreographer and educator in Toronto. Raechele has a lifelong history in the arts, beginning her arts education in dance at the age of 3 and her professional career as a musician at the age of 8 in her father's touring steel drum band. By the age of 10, Raechele was performing in both amateur and professional productions throughout the community, at venues such as The Centre in the Square, The Registry Theatre and The Humanities Theatre. Some professional credits include: live promotional dancer for companies such as Mazda Canada & the Grand Opening of The Urban Eatery at the Eaton's Centre, commercial actor for Rogers, actress (Aimee) in the upcoming indie feature film Almost Adults, lead actress (June) in the Toronto Fringe Festival Play S27 at The Annex Theatre and working as the choreographer and panelist for the Mini Pop Kids.

As a graduate of Eastwood Collegiate Institute's Integrated Arts Program '07 as a dance, drama and vocal major, in addition to The Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts '11 Triple Threat college program, Raechele has a well rounded and high caliber professional education - having trained with some of the top industry professionals in the country. In addition to her formal professional training, Raechele also trained as a competitive dancer from the age of 12 and is always working at continuing her education through workshops and conventions. Most recently, Raechele completed her Acrobatic Arts Teacher Certification Course.

As an educator, Raechele has over 10 years of experience working with students of all ages and abilities. An award winning competitive choreographer, Raechele has a special knack for story telling and creativity. Raechele's expertly trained eyes and years of industry experience give her both the technical background and the practical experience to help give pre-professional students the tools that they need to be successful in the entertainment industry; while her love and passion for dance paired with her friendly approach and positive attitude makes her a fun recreational teacher - instilling self confidence, poise and passion into her students at all levels. Raechele's passion for instilling proper technique while fostering artistry in a warm, welcoming and supportive environment make her a unique and gifted educator with a wide range of skills who gives one of her students their best shot at exceeding their potential in dance.

Raechele is thrilled to join the Star Staff and is looking forward to sharing the next chapter of her artistic journey with her new students at Star Performance Academy!
