WHY OUR STUDIO OFFERS ACRO DANCE TESTING

Acro Dance tests provide a clear goal for students to work towards. Acro Dancers that participate in tests have a stronger work ethic in the classroom, pay more attention to details, and hold themselves to a higher standard, because they are preparing for an upcoming test day.

Each student will be professionally evaluated in a classroom setting. Upon completion of the assessment, students receive a graded report card that highlight areas of excellence and suggested areas of improvement. When each level is completed a certificate and level achievement pin will also be presented

Successfully completing Acro Dance testing gives students something to show for their years of training, and is great experience for the future.

Obtaining ADTA Test Certificates will not only assist students who decide to dance professionally or become a dance teacher after graduating; this achievement is a true sign of dedication and commitment regardless of the career they choose to pursue in life after the studio.

The ADTA Acro Dance Syllabus is a worldwide-recognized organization, which an incredible standard for excellence. Acro Dance test certificates are a wonderful addition to a young person’s resume: your child’s future employer(s) will love the fact that they have learned the important attributes of work ethic, diligence and preparation, and that they have committed to attaining such significant goals throughout their childhood years.

ADTA tests ensure your student is getting the most well rounded Acro Dance education possible.

Key points of focus within ADTA Tests are: trick technique, strength and flexibility progress, Acro Dance theory, and incorporating acrobatic tricks with dance steps. Taking the time to perfect each of these elements gives students the opportunity to “check in” with themselves and take note of what they are excelling at, and where they can continue to grow in their Acro Dance training.

We support the ADTA’s positive and inspirational approach to student progress and development, and we are proud to certify our teachers with the ADTA method. Working in conjunction with the ADTA Syllabus allows us to create a wonderful experience for our students as they prepare for, and participate in, their Acro Dance tests!
